One of our members who is also a photographer, has been visiting and photographing the Vulture Mine since 2007. He had an opportunity to view the mine underground in 2010. The mine was flooded below about the 400 foot level and there was serious cave-in in the incline shaft near that level.
The first images start at the Headframe of the mine and then go underground for a rarely seen (in modern times) view of the Vulture Mine.
The later images return to the surface for a look at buildings and structures that have since degraded or no longer exist.
